RACL Geartech Limited, formerly known Raunaq Automotive Components Limited was established in 1989 for producing automotive components in the field of Motorcycles Scooters, 34 Wheeler Passenger Cargo Vehicles, Agricultural Machinery, Tractors, ATV, Light Heavy Commercial Vehicles, etc. The Companys name was changed to RACL Geartech Limited on October 20, 2015. The Company has expanded into subassemblies, industrial Gears for electrical switch Gears and Circuit Breakers, Winches and Cranes. Promoted by Bharat Gears and PICUP, the Company manufactures transmission gears and axle shafts for the automobile industry. The Companys manufacturing unit is situated at Gajraula in the Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. The Company started commercial production in 1989. The company manufactures all types of transmission gears for a variety of vehicles including twowheelers, tractors, cars and jeeps, LCVs and heavy vehicles. It also manufactures axle shafts mainly for heavy vehicles. The companys products are mainly utilised by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Its clientele include Majestic Auto, Escorts, HMT, VST Tillers, Greaves and Telco, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra and Mahindra, etc.Since the company started commercial production, it faced many problems due to recession in the automobile industry and the communal riots all over the country. But during 199293, the company started getting orders from Escorts tractor division, and Yamaha and Hero. Only in 199394 did the situation improve, after the auto industry started showing encouraging signals. Demand for twowheelers and the subsequent demand for gears increased rapidly, and the companys supplies to Hero Puch and Escorts Yamaha gave a boost to its production and sales. During this time, the company introduced their own brand Raunaq gears in the replacement market. The company has tieup with M/s Piaggio Greaves Vehicles Ltd. for the supply of components who have launched their new model of three wheelers recently.The Company completed the Rehabilitation Scheme as approved by HonBIFR. The HonBIFR has discharged the company from its purview along with the directions to the concerned authorities for compliance of its order dated 5.11.07.The Company set up new unit II at Noida, which became operational since Feb11.During the period 2025, Company has commenced construction of a new manufacturing facility within the Gajraula Plant, Uttar Pradesh. Company has acquired 100% shares of Racl Geartech Gmbh (Austria), making it as a wholly owned subsidiary in FY 2025.

For the full year FY2025–2026, revenue reached ₹424.99 crore and profit touched at ₹23.74 crore. As of Dec '25, RACL Geartech’s market capitalisation stood at ₹1,136.49 crores. Shareholding as of Dec '25 shows promoters holding 42.7%, with FIIs at 9%, DIIs at 2.7%, and public at 45.6%.
