Since then, it envisioned to focus on lodine Derivatives as their core products. The Companys principal activities are manufacturing and selling chemicals. Company is a producer of pharmaceutical chemicals. The intermediates produced are used in pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Your Company is amongst the manufacturers who produce for local and international needs of the pharmaceuticals and chemicals industry. The company has two plants producing varied items. The basic purpose of producing in two different plants is to improve efficiency and manageability.SPL started commercial production of Iodine Derivatives in April, 1993. In October 1996, SPL acquired adjoining land for increasing its production capacity to cater to larger markets. The Company floated a new 100% subsidiary company during the year 200304 under the name of Samrat Remedies Limited to carry on activities of Manufacturing of Pharmaceutical Bulk Drugs Chemicals. SPL constructed new factory building in July, 2006.In August 2015, SPL received GMP Compliance Certificate and was awarded with Export House Certificate by Government of India in October 2015. SPL installed machinery for enhancing its production capacity in April 2019.
