Saraswati Saree Depot Limited was incorporated as Saraswati Saree Depot Private Limited dated March 18, 2021 issued by Central Registration Centre. Subsequently, Company converted into a Public Limited and the name of Company was changed to Saraswati Saree Depot Limited pursuant to a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated March 31, 2023 issued by the RoC. The Company is engaged in the wholesale business of other womens apparel wear such as kurtis, dress materials, blouse pieces, lehengas, bottoms, etc. In year 1966, Late Laxmandas Danomal Dulhani, the father of Promoter, along with his mother and three others had launched M/s. Saraswati Sadi Depot, a Partnership Firm formed under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, for undertaking trading of womens apparel wear. Their vision helped in driving the growth of the Firm in its formative years. In 1993, to consolidate and reorganize the family business, the second generation of the Dulhani family took charge and joined hands by amalgamating their respective sole proprietorship businesses and undertake the same through a newly form Partnership Firm M/s. Saraswati Sadi Depot. Consequently, the Partnership Firm formed by Late Laxmandas Danomal Dulhani was dissolved in year 1996.In year 2002, Saraswati Sadi Depot hosted a special event Utsav before the joyous festival of Diwali, where it gathered customers from across regions to participate. During Utsav event, exclusive collection of products were presented with generous special offers made to customers. After consistent success over the years, the Utsav event became a permanent fixture of Saraswati Sadi Depots business. Later on, through growth in business, the Partnership Firm shifted its operations to newly constructed Uchgaon premises at Kolhapur, Maharashtra in 2015. The business expanded their product range to include readymade garments in 2017 with the beginning of Kurti sales. Since then, the readymades portfolio has grown to include several other offerings such as bottoms, pyjamas, onepiece clothing and dresses. Then later on in 2021, the Company opened Ulhasnagar Store.The Company launched the initial public offering aggregating the issuance of 10,000,800 equity shares of Rs 10 each, by raising funds aggregating to Rs 160.013 crore, comprising a fresh issue of 6,499,800 equity shares aggregating to Rs 103.997 crore and the offer for sale of 3,501,000 equity shares aggregating to Rs 56.016 crores on August 14, 2024.The Company entered the retail division with the launch of a first exclusive outlet in Kolhapur in May 2025.

For the full year FY2024–2025, revenue reached ₹612.58 crore and profit touched at ₹28.81 crore.
