The status was changed into a Public Limited Company to RCL Retail Limited on 5 April, 2011 and further to Shanti Guru Industries Limited on September 3, 2022. The Company is engaged in the business of trading processed foods. The company operates through its two well furnished retail stores located in Chennai. In a short span of time, it has grown in terms of operations tremendously .In December 2010, Company opened its retail store 1 at Vepery, in Chennai. Further, the Company acquired the business of SS Super Store and opened Retail Store 2 at Golden George Nagar, Mogappair (East), Chennai through business takeover agreement in May, 2011. The Company acquired a piece of land at Ambattur Taluk, in the district of Thiruvallur in Tamil Nadu for setting up a food grain processing unit in November, 2011. The Company issued and allotted 57,95,000 equity shares of Rs 10/ each by raising Rs 5.7 Crore via its initial public offering in October 2012.
